OPEN MODEL "FUN" HORSE SHOW

LOCATION: Old Union Baptist Church, 1094 Oakley Station RD, Randolph, AL 36792 Take I65 to exit 231 (Calera then through Montevallo off Hwy 25) more detail directions coming.
Set up time 9:00 am, show start 10:00am
Two divisions (two rings) CM division and OF division OPEN TO ALL AGES.
Door prizes, auctions, raffle items. (if you like donate, please let me know or bring the items day of the show)
AWARDS 1-6 ribbons, Champion and Res. Champion Rosettes for Performance, OF halter, and CM halter. Other depends on donations.
-ENTRY FEE $30 for ages 16 and up. $20 (ages 15 and below- youth). I can take Paypal, but preferred check or money order. due Dec 10. I will accept cash only the day of the show. Once I have received your check or money order I will cash with in 2-3 days of receiving it. PLEASE: fill out the form on the bottom of this page to turn in with your entry fee. Hopefully there will be extra the day of the show.
-Show entry offers limited (max) two horses in each performance class, three in the halter classes, and three animals in the other divisions.
-All horses must have a tag with the string looped on one of the horses back legs. This tag must have horses name, breed, gender, (on the bottom please place CM if the horse is alter or custom in any way) and on the back side the owner’s full name.
-These classes are judged on collect ability, conformation, and how well the owner can present the horse’s proper breed. Breeds that are not familiar with the shower, he or she should display a small sheet explaining the horse’s characteristics of that breed.
-In the retired, special run, regular run classes, the show must show information on their model (for example: what years did Breyer run this mold)(What Breyerfest was the horse from and how many where made, the more information on the model helps placing the model)
-Eng. Perf: any event with English saddle
-West. Perf: any event with a Western Saddle
-Costume: any. Ex: Arab, Indian, Parade
-Other Perf: anything that is not above ex: racing, harness, pack mule.
-Decorate- any other color that is not natural on a horse. Ex: wood grain, metallic, pearl.
-My first cm: your first painted cm model/s
-My favorite horse: any model horse that is your favorite model. (only one horse allowed)
-My fun set up: think of anything funny, cool, different.
-Dog agility: You must show a dog participating in obstacles in a agility class, and have paper explaining the course or event.
-note: in performance and agility you must only display only one or two obstacles to explain the event. For example, in a jumping classes, you do not need to set up several jumps in a ring like the real horses. Just show one and explain what the horse is doing.
-Open other animal classes are for both age groups to enter; these classes are being offered after the both main list are done.
RULES: - Two horses maximum for performance and three horses for the halter classes.
--DO NOT TOUCH OTHER HORSES WITH OUT OWNERS PERMISSION. Some horse owners treat their horses a type of art or collectable that cost the owner money and if you break it, you will buy it.
--There will be two tables set up (rings) for each division There is a CM ring and OF ring, where you can show performance, halter class. --Show committee, judges, and the show hall are not responsible for any loss, damage items,
--No radios, no smoking, no foul language, no bad showmanship, or no pets.
--Please do not disturb the judge while she is judging, if you have any questions please ask between classes. Once the class is pin and the judge has turned in the judge sheet the placing is final. Do not wait and ask the judge after a few classes or end of show the reason your horse placed. (Please, if you do ask about your horses placing, ask right after the class has been placed, so the information is fresh on her mind.)
--Please pick your horses up as soon as the class is over, if not you are giving the judge permission to move your horse to the center of the table to make room for the next class.
--Most important rule of all. Use common sense and just have fun. This a great place to learn new things, meet new friends and see some great horses in the hobby. And don’t forget the camera***.
DONATIONS: I LOVE DONATIONS, SO IF YOU HAVE ANYTHING TO GIVE I WOULD TAKE IT. Any thing will do with model horses or real horses items are welcome. Great time to check out local tack shops, and toy stores for discounted items, or you just might have something just sitting around that needs to be re-home to another horse crazy girl or woman. :)
