Central Alabama Live Model Horse show Dec. 9, 2023 🎋(Back home for the holidays mini show)🎄
*Set up is 7AM and the show begins at 8:00AM, If you like to come and visit for the day or bring a pot luck meal/treat let me know. (Chili, and chicken salad will be provided) Note the church will be open night before for set up if you like to set your models down or set up, but the host or church will not hold responsible for your horses any loss or damage.
*Located: Old UNION BAPTIST CHURCH 1094 Oakley Station Rd, Randolph, AL 36792, Take I65 to exit 231 Calera/Montevallo. You drive through Calera and turn right on to (Rite Aid on right) Highway 25. You will go through Montevallo and continue straight until come to highway 139 (Selma) turn left on Highway 139. Continue driving (yes there is a white church on your left keep going pass that) you need Bibb county road 2 on the left (past gas station before the bridge) turn left. Oakley Station RD will be on your right and the sign of the church will be there. The road is small, but drive down till you see the big building on your left. (there will be markings to help you get there.)
*More info coming *1-6 flat paper ribbon and Champ/Res. Rosettes, only 1st & 2nd place horses will receive NAN cards and results sent to NAMHSA. Results are due within a month. Please contact me ASAP for corrections.
* 6 ring are set up for OF, CM/AR, CHINA/STONE and Performance (CM/AR and CHINA/STONE show separated) *Entry fee: $50 open unlimited horses (3 per class), $25 Proxy-unlimited, or $3 per horse per class. $1/per horse if extra **Tables are very limited (first come, first serve), but you’re welcome to bring yours (if your not able please let me know).
*Class limit: 3 horses per halter class (except china-unlimited), 2 horses per performance class (only one horse with tag will be placed, and all extra horses in the setup do not qualify for a ribbon). 10 minute break between performance classes. *Halter horses will be judged on breed and collectible/workmenship. A horse can not cross into other halter classes, but can show in all or any performance classes. **Horses placing 1st & 2nd in Performance will get a pink NAN Card.
*Halter breed- Horses that place 1st & 2nd in halter division will get a Green NAN card.
**Non-breed Halter –Horses placed 1st & 2nd in either collectable (OF)/workmenship-non-halter (AR/CM) - will received a yellow NAN card ** [horses showing in deco and fantasy only qualify for yellow card only-“”NAMHSA rules -Fantasy Equine eligibility is limited to equine based fantasy models such as: Equine Unicorns, Pegasus, Hippocampus, Hippogriff, Thestral, Zombie Horse, Skeletal Horse, or other fantasy equines which depict a creature that is at least 50% equine in form.””
* Horses are not required documentation, but depends on the judge (collectability classes requires maximum ½ 8x11 copy paper or smaller). **It is helpful for placing higher in the class, depending on the judge.**
**Judges can not judge horses they had owned or created (CM/AR) currently or past.
*This show qualifies horses that are 6 inches long and 5 inches tall and smaller. (smaller than classic 1:12 ‘Freedom horses’),Breyer Littlebit, Stablemate, micromini, Stone pebbles, chips and any other manufacturer that has these measurements. ((but you are welcome to bring the big guys for trade or sale))
*tags with EMCAT number: breed, gender, and EMCAT on the front of tag and on the back of the tag the horse's name and your 3 initials. (if you don’t have EMCAT (these are given to showers in region 5) please contact the show host to obtain a special number for this CALMHS show. All horses require a tag and EMCAT to be placed.
**A list of horses and EMCAT # needs to be printed and turned in before or on the day of the show. This list should have EMACAT # assign to each horse, Horses name, Breed, Sex, and size of the horse (SM, Chip, etc). Exp (Emcate # 101-000) 101-101 Cookie, ASB, Mare, SM 101-102 Hollywood did it, QH, Gelding, Chip.
**Show results are required to be turned into Namhsa within 30 days of the show. If you do not respond on the correction of your horse's name or placing before this. The information will be turned in incorrect. note: Deadline Dec 1, 2023 last day to entry. Shows are limited on sitting, first come, first serve will be applied to ones who pay first. No refunds after 12/6/22. (tables are very limited, but your welcome to bring your own).
